Once upon a time there was a little girl who wanted to please her parents and others so much that she didn’t realize how much God already loved her. She only knew about Jesus (she did not yet KNOW her Saviour) at the age of 10. Her mother told her… “you can always pray to Jesus He is always there for you.” But it wasn’t till she was 21 that she heard that she had sin and that Jesus died especially for her and paid her sin debt so that she could go to Heaven. She asked to receive His gift of salvation and immediately started negotiating with God.

I want to do things Your way God, but it’s too hard. (in our own strength-of course it is!) Can I please do things my way and things still be ok between us?

Long story short: It took years for Him to teach me that letting me do things my way would hurt me. Submitting to Him and learning how much He loved me changed my life!

1 Corinthians 10:13, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

Nothing I could do would make Him love me more or less, as He already loved me (and you!) …PERFECTLY ! HE IS “the Way” of escape!!! I, now, having gone through MANY trials) and still am), He is refining me, conforming me to His image.

Romans 8:29, "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren."

I am thankful not for the pain, but for the purifying the pain produced in my life! He has this precious treasure for you also, My Friend! It is my purpose to help others as He has helped me.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God."

I now want to PLEASE Him more than ANYTHING including myself.

Acts 5:29, "Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men."

May we both feel His love and share it with others as He has given us the Ministry of Reconciliation.

Romans 8:37-39, "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

2 Corinthians 5:18, "And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;"

If you feel fearful… He is power, love and a sound mind.

If you feel stuck… He is hope!

If you feel discouraged … He is courage!

Need someone who has “been there” to walk along side you?

While Jesus is that “Someone” And is not only walking along side you but is indeed carrying you… I pray that He might use me with those whose lives He chooses for me to work with and walk along side. He never meant us to walk alone. He is always there for us and will never leave us nor forsake us. But I know I needed someone compassionate with "skin on". Someone who is willing to listen and understand what you are going through. Someone who wants what God wants for you. Knowing you are the expert in your own life, as you are the one having experienced it for a lifetime from your perspective. I endeavor to encourage you to take that Next Right Step God has for you as we pray together about healing and future God has for you!
